History and Mission

Established in 1933, the Fowler Cemetery District has a long-standing tradition of providing respectful and dignified burial services to our community. Governed by a dedicated three-member board of trustees, we are committed to meeting the diverse cultural, economic, religious, and social needs within our service area.

Governance

The District is overseen by a board of trustees, appointed by the Fresno County Supervisors representing Districts one and four. Trustees serve four-year terms and must be registered voters

and residents within the District’s boundaries. The board of trustees is responsible for all aspects of the District’s operations, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.

Management Team

Our board of trustees appoints a general manager to oversee the District’s daily operations. The general manager is supported by a dedicated team, including one secretary and two groundskeepers, who work tirelessly to maintain the beauty and sanctity of our cemetery grounds.
